At Friends of Leaps & Bounds, our volunteers are the heartbeat of our mission. Whether you're helping a child during a therapy session, caring for our horses, or supporting a fundraising event, your time and energy directly impact the lives of children with disabilities.
We rely heavily on volunteers to keep our programs running smoothly—and we welcome individuals from all backgrounds who want to make a difference.

What Volunteers Do

Volunteers help with:

Grooming and handling horses

Setting up and cleaning up therapy sessions

Side walking during hippotherapy sessions

Assisting children and families around the ranch

Supporting nonprofit events and fundraising activities

Whether you're interested in horse care, therapy, child education, special education, or just want to give back, we have a place for you.
Who Can Volunteer?

Minimum age: 12 years old
-
Adult volunteers: Background check required upon registration
-
Community service hours: We’re happy to sign off for school, college, or therapy program applications
-
Letters of reference: Available after completing 30 volunteer hours
